For the last ten years Newell Properties have been the preferred partner working with National Grid who recognise Newell Properties as a company that can maximise difficult sites. We are currently working closely with them on several ongoing joint ventures. These deal with all types of environmental issues and in conjunction with our consultant engineers we put together a remedial study so that we have a full understanding of all the materials on the site.

Once this has been established a remedial strategy is put into place where we work with the environment agencies to bring back brownfield land into residential use coupled with insurance indemnities to give mortgage brokers the comfort that there will be no re-occurrence of any problems that may arise.

These insurance policies are taken out with leading insurance companies in the market notably AIG of America.
